Tidelands Oil & Gas, San Antonio, Texas, has carried out the initial project development of the Esperanza project, off the coast of California. The Esperanza project will use one HiLoad with a maximum send-out capacity of 1.4 BCFD. The plan is to use heated water from a “thermal host” for supply to the shell and tube vaporizers on the HiLoad. The heated water could come from an onshore power plant (turbine cooling water), or in the form of produced water from a nearby offshore production platform. The LNG carrier is moored to a CALM Buoy, where the high pressure gas swivel is also located. The terminal will be located in deep waters approximately 10 miles from the shore, south of Long Beach. |
